About me

I am currently in my first year of the Ph.D. program at the University of Central Florida, under the supervision of Prof. George Atia.

I earned my Master's degree in Computer Engineering from York University (NYU), where I had the opportunity to work as a research assistant in the AI4CE LAB, focusing on visual room rearrangement with Wenyu Han and mentored by Prof. Chen Feng. I also led the VIP self-drive team, working on the embodied AI platform and competing in a maze exploration challenge in both simulation and real-world environments. Prior to that, I conducted research in the MMVC lab under Prof. Yi Fang, exploring reinforcement learning for robotic grasping.

Before pursuing my Master's, I completed my Bachelor's degree with honors in Computer Science at the University of Nottingham, where I researched multi-camera gaze estimation for long distances under the supervision of Prof. Ying Weng.

My current research interests include (1) transfer learning, (2) robust reinforcement learning, (3) robot perception and (4) mobile navigation, with the goal of developing real world AI systems.
